Grateful Memorial Day

💙❤️ My mother-in-law understood better than most what it meant to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. She was married to three veterans, her first husband killed in the Battle of Bulge when she was 8 months pregnant. Three of her five sons served in the military, two fought in Viet Nam. She was surrounded by brothers/sons-in-law that served, and her family legacy has many grand and great-grandchildren that have served or are currently serving our great nation.

Kathy knew the heartbreak, the fear, the pride, of sending her men off to war. She also knew the peace that comes from trusting in God who sacrificed His only Son to bring us true and lasting freedom.

Thank you to all our fallen heros and their families who gave the ultimate price for our freedoms! And thank you to all those who serve and continue to put themselves in harms way, or support those who do, so that we can live a blessed life in the home of the free and the brave!! May God continue to bless this nation with men and women who will lead by godly examples of commitment, dedication, loyalty, and scrifice.❤️💙
